In recognition of the high standard of its sustainability management and practices, ElvalHalcor received the EcoVadis 2024 Gold Sustainability Rating medal - an important distinction that is awarded only to the top five percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the previous year and highlights the company’s efforts at continuous improvement and excellence.
EcoVadis is a global leader in monitoring sustainability in the global supply chain. It assesses performance in all ESG, and sustainability areas connected to the environment, social, ethics and supply chain management policies, practices and metrics of more than 130,000 companies in over 180 countries. “The annual EcoVadis assessments reflect our overall efforts in sustainability and provide us with robust action plans for improvement, as we are striving to lead by example in terms of performance and results”, said Panagiotis Tserolas, sustainability senior manager of ElvalHalcor's Aluminium Rolling Division, and George Mavraganis, strategic planning & sustainability senior manager of ElvalHalcor's Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division in a joint statement.
